The story takes place in Japan during the Edo period. The main character Shiyohana works as a shinobi. She investigates a series of mysterious disappearances of girls that have taken place in a local village. The trail leads her to the mansion of a powerful clan, but due to the loss of vigilance, the heroine falls into a trap.
